Rhythm is sound in motion. It is related to the pulse, the heartbeat, the way we breathe. It rises and falls. It takes us into ourselves; it takes us out of ourselves.
In Gentle Flow Yoga, standing, kneeling, seated, prone or supine yoga asanas are linked through rhythms of gentle slow-flowing movement and breath. In these sessions you are always welcome to move at your own pace, to adapt as needed, and to find the flow that’s right for you in the moment, resting between sequences and bringing awareness back to your connection with the ground and the feeling of being alive in your body.
